ok! a quick update on my sad life!

apart from studying and attending classes , i:

straightened my hair! blew 90 bucks on that and now i dun have money to sign up for muay thai or jive. :/ but i like having straight hair! the worst case scenario of a bad hair day's like having a few strands at the back stick out a bit. totally beats the hell outta curly hair.

attended a PWC recruitment talk last tues. was rather interesting.. they brought us on a tour so we could see how their work offices are like.. the layout in all departments' pretty much the same except that you don't have a fixed table if u're in assurance cos u spend most of ur time at ur clients'. and apparently, they have to "fight" for a work space every morning.. :/ but i'm more interested in doing tax next time.. so if i do end up at PWC, i guess i wouldnt mind the environment there. quite a pleasant one. BUT the tables are really really tiny, and the crazy stacks of clients' files that are SO CRAZY, they spill onto the floor, literally take up most of the space on that teeny tiny table, so u end up with this teeny tiny space for ur desktop and that's it. no space for writing.. no space for anything else. except maybe ur tidbits that can fit into that teeny tiny shelf at the top of ur work desk. :/

met up with hairs, weijun, ben and zhi on fri for weijun's farewell dinner. he's leaving tmr for the states.. byebye way joon! have a safe trip! anyway, we ate at rocky's pizza.. and weijun ordered an XL pizza (it's really quite HUGE!), with toppings he chose himself.. i think there was sheeken (i.e. chicken. hairs kept jacking him abt the way he pronounces chicken. harharhar! damn funny..), mushrooms, extra cheese (which honestly wasnt really that extra), bell pepper, and.. erm.. i think that was it? cant remember already.. u gotta ask the "chef" himself. the pizza crust was good! it was biscuit crunchy! not like the lau pok gai 2-for-1 pizzas u get at canadian's which taste like soft, soggy bread. bleaugh. we ordered sides too! there was garlic bread, deep fried sheeken wings and clam chowder! hairs paid for jun's and my share of the bill. what a buddy! thank you, my love! (: we went to KAP to rent dvds and get dessert, then headed to way joon's house for more pigging out. watched 'thumbsucker'. it's abt this 17 year old guy who's still into the habit of sucking his thumb.. then he goes into all sorts of "therapy" like finding his power animal (which is a blardee DEER. oh my goodness. how gay.) which is instigated by his dentist who happens to be keanu reeves. but of course the power animal therapy doesnt work. then he visits the doc and gets diagnosed as having attention deficit disorder and the doc prescribes him some pills which work miracles cos all of a sudden, this kid's turned into some genius debator (he's always been in the debate team but he kinda sucked) who wins every debating competition. then one day one of his competitors sees that he's taking pills and jacks him abt it and the kid decides to stop taking those pills. so at the end of the show, he's back to sucking his thumb. was quite a dry show. but apparently it won a lot of awards. har.

alrighty! that's about it! actually, there were some more things i did during the past week.. but i'm really running outta time and i've truckloads of work waiting for me so that's all for now!
