was just reading The Case for Christ yesterday.. and i came across the part on Jesus' crucifixion. it was horrible. the pain He had to endure. excruciating: out of the cross - a whole new word they came up with in a pathetic attempt to describe all He had to go through. and He willingly suffered in a way He didnt even have to because of love.
Amazing Love! How can it be? That You my KING, would die for me?
thank you Lord! thank you so much for this gift of salvation. why You even bothered to leave Your heavenly throne and come down to this earth to suffer, i would never be able comprehend. but i pray You'll mould me to be more like You - merciful, righteous, a friend to the friendless, and most of all, full of unconditional love. thank you for EVERYTHING, Lord. THANK YOU.
