this post is specially dedicated to my godsista.
babe.. i noe life has been really tough going for you.. and you're getting really tired. but like what good charlotte's hold on says,"we all bleed the same way as you do. and we all have the same things to go through." you're not alone! everyone has their problems.. everyone has faced difficulties and setbacks.. everyone has their insecurities.. the only difference is how we wanna go about handling them.
you could the sit there and whine and cry and blame God and the entire universe for being so cruel to you, but not do anything abt it; or you could adopt the never-say-die attitude and keep working towards your goal until you finally manage to achieve it. you could crumble and fall into pieces at the slightest setbacks; or you could learn from these moments and come out an even stronger, more resilient person. you could spend your entire lifetime wondering why God "chose" so-and-so over you to live such a seemingly carefree life, and gave this person the perfect body; or you could just be thankful for what you have - big feet - they ARE still feet - and all.
i noe all these are easier said that done. but remember, we all have the same things to go through. whether you're gonna make it pass your insecurities and setbacks or remain in the pits, it's really all up to YOU.
and so i end with a quote from vacky, "stop being such a pussy-ass-pathetic-spoilt-brat-weakling!" heehee... she used it on me once and it really got me going.. so hopefully it'll do the same for you! cheer up babe!
(P/S: you could try going to the polyclinic for a referral for ur ankle next time. im quite sure you pay less for consultaions, xrays and all..)
