just had my bgs test yesterday.. crap on top of crap! my lovely prof went to intro a million times worser marking system than my ma prof's - minus 2 marks for every wrong answer! her reason: to prevent students from getting answers correct based on sheer luck. for someone who is pretty into chance and luck, i must say this is a load of bullshit.
she always uses gambling cards to arrange which week our project presentations are going to be in - we'll pick a card from her stupid deck and she'll start droaning, "those who picked jacks will be presenting in week 7, the queens week 8, and the kings week 9..." - who will be in the panel this week, "those with picture cards can choose whether they want to be in the panel/whether they want the number cards pple to be in the panel instead."
i mean.. if this isn't good proof enough that u're the PUREST advocate of luck, then what is.. and now u decide to be miss righteous 2004 and deduct 2 freaking marks for every wrong ans so we dun get the correct ans cos of luck.
