concert in the park was fantabulous! this year's food was SHIOK! harhar~ i was totally pigging out on chicken wings and potato chips, drinking lots and lots or orange juice.. YUMMMMAAAYY.. and the competitors for the duet finals were really good! they should be the ones that go join spore idol.. will really blow the stupid judges away. and there was this blind couple that actually took part u noe?! and they were sooo damn talented! they sang "separate lives" wah kaoz.. i got goosebumps just listening to them. harhar~.. and they won FIRST!!!!! yay!!! the whole field of pple were so happy for them! :D:D:D:D:D but i think the judges also quite cock.. there was this couple who sang "private emotion" and honestly, it sucked pretty bad. i literally drifted off to daydreaming 1/4 into their song. and guess what, they got 2nd. FREAKING 2nd! i won't say that their voice quality sucked or what (both had pretty strong voices) but their performance just didn't haf that 'ompf'. and the couple that should haf gotten at least a 3rd, got CONSOLATION. sheesh man! even the crowd was unhappy.. we were all like bleah-ing and eee-ing and making alot of noise when that couple walked off with a consolation prize.
sigh.. no wonder sporean artistes can never make it big. we're not only lacking in talent pool, we're also lacking in judges who can ACTUALLY judge.
